Jazz/Funk
A free form of dance, but still structured focusing on classic Jazz warm-ups and moves mixed in with new age choreography, using current pop music as seen in music videos to let the body move in an instinctive manner. This high-energy class is designed to give the dancer control, increased flexibility, and musicality. Correct technique is stressed as you learn a basic jazz vocabulary while having fun learning the latest hip moves.Tap
This class is a great introduction to the rhythms of tap. In this fun and highly energetic class, you’ll dance to a variety of musical styles, learn a basic tap vocabulary and develop a better musical ear. A dance form using shoes with steel on the ball and heel of the foot. Learn how to make rhythms with your feet, time steps, travelling time steps and other classic and hip moves while working your small motor skills.Hip Hop
Come and learn to work that body. The aim of this class is to gain flexibility, strength, and balance -AND IT’S FUN! In no time you’ll be doing dance combinations incorporating the styles of Body isolations, Hip Hop and Breakdance. Learn the dance styles that are seen in the music videos of Usher, Gwen Stefani, & more.
